The app store update in MIUI 14 adds an opportunity to earn extra money if you’re a developer, designer, or computer enthusiast.
In the V5.5.58 update, Xiaomi added the ability for users to upload their own widgets, thereby creating a widget store. This opens up a lot of opportunities both for customizing the appearance of the interface and for earning income from creating such widgets.
Now Chinese users can not only add widgets installed in MIUI, but also any other widgets created by the wide community of users who use Xiaomi products.
Unfortunately, this app store is only available for MIUI China ROMs. Whether it will reach other regions with all its features, be it the global ROM or the European ROM, is still in doubt.
