Combat pilot Vadym Voroshylov posted a cockpit view during a flight on a MiG-29 fighter jet and quoted Volodymyr Sosiura’s poem “Love Ukraine”.
Ukrainian pilot and Hero of Ukraine Vadym Voroshylov, call sign KARAYA, posted a video of his flight in a combat fighter. The pilot posted the video on his Instagram page on April 6.

It is noteworthy that during the ejection, KARAYA was able to take a selfie that immediately went viral. As the pilot later said, he turned on his smartphone camera to assess the extent of his injuries.
On December 9, 2022, Volodymyr Zelenskyy conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine on military pilot Vadym Voroshylov and awarded him the Golden Star Order.
On February 13, it became known that the Hero of Ukraine Vadym Voroshylov with the call sign KARAYA returned to service. The pilot had been undergoing treatment for 4 months.
On March 28, KARAYA left his “autograph” on the missile he used to shoot down one of the enemy’s attack drones.
