A legendary phrase that encouraged Ukrainians: Vitalii Kim tells how it came about

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the head of the Mykolaiv regional administration, Vitaliy Kim, has been associated with the phrase “Good evening, we are from Ukraine,” with which he began his video messages.

Kim spoke about the origin of this phrase in the Goal 4.5.0 project on Inter TV channel.

“I decided to brand it so that Ukraine would be heard in every news release. This is the idea of my advisor, Viktoriia Oliynyk, who created the Telegram channel and is responsible for media policy in Mykolaiv region,” he said.

“We talked to the guys who were guarding our region. These are guys from resistance groups, now they are in brigades and special operations. They greeted me and spoke to each other like this: “Good evening, we are from Ukraine”. I said that we will use this to make people remember that we are all Ukrainians and that this is a unifying factor,” Kim said.
