The mass media showed the consequences of the strikes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on occupied Novaya Kakhovka

According to satellite images, the workshops of the Ukrhydromech plant and a large hangar were damaged. The Ukrainian authorities reported that the Armed Forces destroyed a Russian warehouse with ammunition and fuel tankers.

As a result of the night strikes of the armed forces of Ukraine on the Russian-occupied Novaya Kakhovka of the Kherson region, the workshops of the ‘Ukrhydromech’ plant and the hangar next to it were destroyed.

Journalists compared satellite images of the city’s outskirts before and after strikes by the Ukrainian military using the Himars MLRS. They show that during the impact, the workshops of the Ukrhydromech plant (the left part of the pictures from above) and the large hangar, which is identified by the Wikimapia.org service as motor vehicle enterprise 16507 (the lower part of the pictures on the right), were particularly damaged during the attack. According to the media, the market is located between them.

What the Ukrainian army destroyed

Serhii Khlan, adviser to the head of Kherson OVA, said that a Russian warehouse with ammunition was destroyed in the occupied city. On the morning of July 12, the detonation of shells continued.

People’s deputy Oleg Dunda reported that as a result of the attack by the Armed Forces, a warehouse with ammunition for the Smerch anti-aircraft missile system, artillery and tanks, as well as fuel trucks, was liquidated.

In turn, the so-called head of the city’s military administration, Volodymyr Leontiev, claims that Ukrainian troops hit the warehouse with saltpeter and compared the consequences of the attack to the explosion in Beirut.

It will be recalled that on July 12 it became known that as a result of the Himars attack on Shakhtarsk, almost all the deputy commanders of the 106th Airborne Division of the Russian Federation were killed. According to the StratCom of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, only one deputy commander with the call sign ‘badger’ survived, who was seriously injured.

On July 8, the Ukrainian military hit Russian targets in Novaya Kakhovka near the local hydroelectric power plant. As a result of missile strikes, the Russian Armed Forces lost their air defense system and several dozen soldiers.
