The Ministry of Defense demonstrated the operation of a drone with a machine gun on board

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry demonstrates a drone firing a machine gun at enemy positions. Ukrainian engineers installed the machine gun on the drone and tested it at a training ground.

In the test video, you can see the moment of the shots and how the drone reacts to small arms firing at the enemy.

The test was conducted with the participation of soldiers from one of the territorial defense brigades. The video shows a device firing at enemy positions. “Innovation wins wars,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Earlier, the media wrote about the development of drones, to which Western and Ukrainian designers attached various types of weapons.

Feloni Aero has created two models of drones – Felon 1.0 and Felon X. The devices look like a Mavic drone, have encrypted communication channels, and can fly up to 20 km. The Felon 1.0 is armed with a 5.56 caliber firing system, while the Felon X is armed with a 450 g Spike missile.

DronesVision offers another development – the Assault Rotor Weaponized Drone (AR-1), armed with a 5.56 mm assault rifle or a 9 mm submachine gun.

Turkish companies Asisguard and Repkon Savunma Sistemleri have successfully installed a 40mm RDS40-MGL drum grenade launcher on a Songar multicopter.

The Songar drone is equipped with a camera with day and night channels that transmit video in real time. The multicopter weighs 25 kilograms, has a range of 16 km, and a flight altitude of 2.8 km.
