The Ministry of Education is preparing recommendations on how to use AI in schools

The Ministry of Education and Science has started working on guidelines for the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in general secondary education institutions.

This was reported by the publication Osvita.ua

To do this, a working group was set up, consisting of 30 experts from the Ministry of Education and Science, academia, advanced training institutes, universities, schools, and the public sector.

It is expected that by May 1 of this year, the working group members will develop proposals for recommendations on the use of artificial intelligence technologies in schools and submit the draft document to the Directorate of Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Education and Science.

Next, the Directorate of Digital Transformation and the Directorate of School Education of the Ministry of Education and Science should prepare proposals for the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Science to make a decision no later than August 1, before the start of the new school year.

As a reminder, the National Multidisciplinary Test in 2024 will be available in 31 countries and 55 cities. Recently, the city of Tralee in Ireland was added to the list, which opens up the possibility for applicants from this country to change the location of the test.
