On Tuesday, January 9, the Monobank mobile application experienced a technical failure.
This was reported by Espresso.

In the morning, users noticed that when they tried to use the Bank’s storage service, an error occurred after a long download: “Request failed: gateway timed out (504).” At the same time, there are no problems with card-to-card transfers.

Oleg Gorokhovsky, co-founder of the bank, confirmed the technical failure.

“It broke down a little bit. We are fixing it. Sorry,” he wrote on Telegram.

According to Gorokhovsky, as of 08:43, restoration work is underway.

On December 12, Ukrainian mobile bank Monobank came under a massive DDoS attack. The founders assured us that everything was under control. The cyberattack was repelled.
