The Morok drone, capable of flying 800 km, turned out to be a modified version of the RZ-60

This week, Serhiy Prytula showed the general public the kamikaze drone Morok. The volunteer claims that the first mass-produced batch of barrage ammunition is being prepared for delivery to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The weight of the drone’s warhead is 30 kg. It can fly up to 800 km. Despite the fact that the photo released by Prytula was “blurry,” experts identified the aircraft as a modified version of the Ukrainian-made RZ-60 target UAV.

The RZ-60 drone was developed by the private company NAURocket under the auspices of the National University of Kyiv. Shevchenko National University as a budget UAV target. Such drones are used to train air defense units. It is worth noting that the takeoff weight and range of the RZ-60 and the Morok do not match. The warhead of the target UAV weighs 3 kg. It can fly up to 300 km.

Obviously, the RZ-60 has been modified to increase its range and payload. And it was a rather deep revision. There is no other way to increase the weight of a combat unit tenfold.
