The Ukrainian animated film Mavka. The Forest Song” will be released on Netflix on December 1, 2023. This was reported by the press service of the streaming service.

The animated film is based on the novel “Forest Song” by Ukrainian writer Lesya Ukrainka. Its budget is UAH 187 million, and the share of state participation in production is UAH 49.5 million.
The main characters are voiced by well-known Ukrainian artists, among others:
- Dzidzio;
- Yulia Sanina;
- Artem Pivovarov;
- Olena Kravets;
- Natalia Denisenko;
- Oleg Skrypka.
