The most expensive car on the world car market was shown in live photos
The Rolls-Royce Droptail family of premium cars has been expanded with a luxury convertible worth about USD 30 million. It is the most expensive car on the global car market.
In total, the British automaker plans to build four such cars. They will differ from each other in terms of decoration. The photo shows the third convertible in the series, called Arcadia Droptail. Its body is 5.3 meters long. The car has 22-inch wheels and a branded grille with thin diode headlights.
The customer of Arcadia Droptail asked to design the convertible in the style of Southeast Asia. The car body is covered with pearlescent paint with microscopic particles of aluminum and glass.
Rosewood and expensive leather were used for the interior. It took the British company’s designers 8,000 hours to inlay the interior and trunk lid with 233 pieces of rosewood. The clock on the front panel took 5 months to make.
The premium convertible received a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine with an output of 600 hp, which is mated to an 8-speed automatic. Peak torque reaches 840 Nm.
