The new Apple TV will be equipped with a ‘truncated’ A15 Bionic chip
The new Apple TV 4K is equipped with an A15 Bionic chip. This is reported by FlatpanelsHD with reference to the TV Info application for tvOS.
If this is true, then the third generation of TV 4K from the ‘apple’ giant works on the basis of a 5-core processor. Although the iPhone 13 and two younger models of the 14th series have a six-core A15.
Although the latest model of Apple TV uses a binned chip, its performance has increased by about 40%. The design type is fanless, with less throttling compared to the previous model. The new 4K TV surpassed the last generation Xbox One console in terms of speed.
The new A15 Bionic is expected to deliver 30% more GPU performance compared to the previous generation version.
