The new development of Ukroboronprom will lead to a change in the course of the war

‘Ukroboronprom’ began to produce cluster mines in one of the NATO countries, designed to destroy unarmored vehicles, personnel and light fortifications. The representative of the state concern Oleg Boldyrev claims that 82-mm ammunition can change the course of the war.

The range of the mine is 4,500 m. It is ideal for fighting in densely built-up areas. ‘Ukroboronprom’ uses cast iron for the production of fragmentation mines.

Ukrainian 82-mm fragmentation mines produced by Ukroboronprom According to Boldyrev, the main ‘feature’ of the mine is its absolute repeatability. Ammunition from different lots is identical. During the times of the USSR, deviations were allowed in the production of mines. In modern conditions, they are unacceptable.

Previously, ‘Ukroboronprom’ began to mass-produce ammunition of scarce calibers such as 152-mm. NATO technologies are used for their production. Projectiles are produced both at Ukrainian and foreign production facilities. Launching its own production will enable Ukraine to reduce its dependence on ammunition supplies from abroad.
