The new Razor P100 drone flies at Mach 0.75 and carries up to 45 kg of load

Mayman Aerospace has unveiled the first full-scale model of its new Razor P100 vertical takeoff and landing drone. The Razor P100 drone is capable of carrying a payload of up to 45 kg. Following this model, Mayman plans to introduce the P500, designed for a payload of 220 kg and potentially scalable to a payload of 450 kg.

The compact size of the AUV Razor allows it to take off and land on small sites, with high maneuverability and speed, it is capable of replacing helicopters and jet fighters in some combat missions.

The versatility of the Razor family makes them suitable for a wide range of military operations. The drones can be configured to operate squadrons of more than 1,000 high-performance UAVs, with variants specializing in a variety of tasks, from ISTAR and anti-UAV operations to missile strikes and cargo transportation.

The introduction of these UAVs is part of Mayman Aerospace’s broader strategy to expand its product offering in the unmanned vertical takeoff and landing systems segment. Larger models of the Razor line can potentially be equipped with Hellfire or Brimstone missiles for high-precision strikes.

These UAVs can perform functions such as launching small cruise missiles, electronic warfare, suppression of enemy air defenses (SEAD), or operate as target drones.

The company expects the first Razor prototype to begin full-scale testing in 2024. These drones are designed to be deployed not only from ground positions, but also from aircraft and ships, which increases their operational flexibility. They can reach speeds of up to Mach 0.75, combining efficiency with rapid deployment capabilities.

Mayman also announced the creation of an autonomous operating system based on artificial intelligence called SkyField for Razor drones. This system is designed to integrate into existing battlefield management systems, expanding the operational capabilities of the Razor family in complex combat environments.
