“The occupants should like it”: DIU received exclusive domestic Dozor-B armored personnel carriers (photo)
The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine received two Dozor-B armored personnel carriers in a special version.
This was reported by Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
It is reported that the combat vehicles are exclusively designed for the needs of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
“We can’t talk about all the advantages of the vehicle, but the Russian occupiers should “like” them. Including armor, including protection from mines, small arms fire, etc.”, – wrote Syniehubov.
We can only speculate on what improvements the new Dozors have received, but we can visually see optical systems installed on the front and rear, probably with thermal and/or night vision channels.
The “Dozors” handed over to the scouts are armed with a closed-type machine gun with a smoke screen system.
It can be assumed that 12.7-mm machine guns will be mounted on the installation.
The armored vehicles also received a new landing door with a doorway on the armor glass, which was previously absent on both the Ukrainian and Polish versions of the vehicle.
