The response was not long in coming, Israel attacked Iran with missiles

Israel launched a missile strike against Iran in response to a missile attack on April 13-14, 2024.

This was reported by BBC News.

The strikes were carried out on unknown targets in Iran, in the central province of Isfahan, which were also confirmed by US officials.

Israeli officials do not comment on the explosions in Iran. Iranian media reported that Israel did not cause any damage to infrastructure or military facilities as a result of the attack.

Representatives of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that nuclear facilities in the country were not affected.

Photos and videos of the remains of ballistic missile simulators known as Sparrow were published online. They were found on the territory of Iraq.

Most likely, the missiles were used to create false air targets to distract Iran’s air defense.

As a reminder, Israel’s attack was a response to a similar strike that took place on the night of April 13-14, 2024.

At the time, Iran launched about 500 missiles and UAVs, most of which were successfully intercepted by Israeli air defense systems and allied aircraft.

According to Israeli media reports, allied aircraft managed to intercept about 38 air targets flying toward Israel.

In addition, up to 4 fuel refueling aircraft were launched to support the rapid response fighter forces.
