The Russian army left a rare ‘trophy’ in Kharkiv Oblast (video)
During the entire war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took only three 1В14 vehicles as trophies, and three more were destroyed.
A video has appeared in the public domain, indicating that during the escape from the temporarily occupied areas of Kharkiv Oblast, the Russian army threw away the rare and at the same time rare car of the 1B14 ACS battery commander from the 1B12 ‘Machine-S’ complex.
Production of 1В14 started back in 1972, during Soviet times. According to the conservative estimates of analysts of the Oryx portal, during the entire war, the Armed Forces of Ukraine took only three 1В14 machines as trophies, and three more were destroyed.
In this situation, what is really more interesting is not even how rare and rarity the car became a trophy of the AFU, but under what conditions the Russians abandoned their 1B14.

As can be assumed on the basis of data from open sources, during the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, the occupiers probably tried to use their artillery against our troops. In particular, GUR MOU reported that the Russians tried to delay the advance of the Armed Forces with the help of TOS-1 ‘Buratino’, but they failed. Once the Russian army threw its rare radar at the ‘Zoopark-1M’ complex, it means that the enemy at least tried to conduct a counter-battery fight.
It seems that the service of this abandoned 1В14 even tried to organize the issuance of target designations for shooting, say, for the Msta-S self-propelled guns, which, however, also threw rockets in large quantities in the Kharkiv region. But, as we can further assume, as soon as panic gripped the staff officers of the artillery units of the Russian army, the control of the artillery of the Russian occupying forces was paralyzed. Which in some ways predetermined the collapse of the ‘Izyum’ grouping of the Rashist troops.
