The SAS fighters have captured a “fat” target: HIMARS destroys occupants’ Zoo radar in Donetsk region (video)

The Special Operations Forces published a video of an accurate drill on the Russian Zoo-1 radar station in the Donetsk sector. Probably, a missile from the M142 HIMARS system was used to destroy the “fat” target.

The footage shows the enemy “Zoo” moving across Ukrainian fields. Judging by the explosion, the Ukrainian military fired from the M142 HIMARS missile system, and the Shark aerial reconnaissance system corrected the strike and filmed its consequences.

“As a result of the professional actions of our soldiers, the Russian army suffered considerable losses,” the military signed the video.

The video shows a GMLRS missile arriving on Russian radar. The result was a powerful explosion of the Zoo.

Zoopark-1 is a reconnaissance and fire control radar system used by the Russians for counter-battery warfare. The system allows the occupiers to locate the firing positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, from where MLRS (up to 22 km), artillery pieces (up to 12 km), mortars (up to 17 km) and tactical missiles (45 km) are fired, automatically determining their coordinates after the shots are fired.
