The Ukrainian army destroyed the export Russian T-90S tank for the first time
OSINT specialists of the Oryx project published the first confirmation of the destruction of the Russian T-90S tank, which was intended for export.
For the first time, it became known about the use of export combat vehicles a few months ago. At the beginning of October, a T-90S was spotted at the front. It is possible that in three months the Armed Forces of Ukraine were able to destroy more tanks, but only now we have received confirmation for the first time.
Looks like it really is the 1st Russian T-90S loss in Ukraine.
Considering the reported size of the Russian tank fleet and reserves, having to redirect/steal export tanks says a lot about Russian losses and problems repairing/reactivating remaining tanks. https://t.co/eZaiAXIqOC

The T-90S has a new turret and an improved fire control system compared to the T-90. The tank is also equipped with an updated cannon and machine gun. Another innovation is the addition of dynamic protection. Although for this we had to sacrifice ‘Shtor-1’ infrared searchlights. Their purpose is to provide protection against guided missiles and guided munitions.
