The Ukrainian UAV Sokil-300 surpassed the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 (video)

The Sokil-300 UAV, designed in Ukraine, is superior in terms of technical characteristics to the Turkish-made Bayraktar TB2 drone. This was stated by Anatoly Amelin, who is one of the founders of the Ukrainian Institute of the Future.

“Sokil-300” can be used not only for collecting intelligence in the deep rear, but also for defeat. It is capable of carrying on board three types of missiles, the range of which is 10 km. The main competitive advantage of the Ukrainian drone is its flight range. It can reach 3,300 km. Thus, nothing will prevent the Armed Forces from striking Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, or Grozny.

Specifications:

  • Payload weight: 300 kg.
  • Flight speed: 580 km/h.
  • Maximum height: 12 km.
  • Autonomy: 26 hours.
  • Price: 2 million USD.

Amelin compared the Ukrainian drone to the Turkish Bayraktar TB2 drone, which was actively used by the Ukrainian army at the very beginning of the invasion. It has the following technical characteristics:

  • Payload weight: 55 kg.
  • Flight speed: 222 km/h.
  • Maximum height: 8,200 m
  • Autonomy: 1 day.
  • Price: 1-5 million USD.

The above characteristics convincingly prove the superiority of the Ukrainian drone over its Turkish counterpart. This suggests that gunsmiths working in Ukraine are competitive on the world market.
