The United States announces a new $200 million aid package for Ukraine, including AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles and other weapons.
During the visit of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Washington, the United States announced the 53rd aid package for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The new assistance package is worth $200,000,000 and includes:
- AIM-9 Sidewinder missiles for air defense;
- Air defense system components;
- Additional ammunition for HIMARS MLRS;
- Artillery shells of 155 mm and 105 mm caliber;
- High-speed anti-radar missiles (HARM);
- Anti-tank missiles TOW;
- Anti-tank systems Javelin and AT-4;
- More than 4 million rounds of ammunition for small arms;
- Explosive ammunition for clearing obstacles;
- Equipment to protect critical infrastructure;
- Spare parts, generators, as well as repair and other auxiliary equipment.
