The Pacific Air Force held an event called the Mammoth Walk. At the Osan air base in South Korea, several dozen military aircraft took to the skies at the same time.

The event took place on May 5, 2023, but the photos have only just been published. The images show 53 aircraft:

  • 36 F-16 Fighting Falcon fighters;
  • 12 A-10 Thunderbolt II attack aircraft;
  • three C-12 Huron military transport aircraft;
  • two U-2 Dragon Lady scouts.

Importantly, the planes carried combat weapons. In particular, AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, AGM-65 Maverick air-to-ground missiles, AGM-88 HARM anti-radar missiles and JDAM smart bombs.

Unfortunately, the press service of the airbase did not disclose the details of the event, but published a large number of photos. You can see them below.
