“During the night of July 24, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack with seventeen unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of the Crimean peninsula was prevented,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
Russia said that electronic warfare systems destroyed 14 Ukrainian drones, 11 of which crashed in the Black Sea, and the other three crashed on the territory of the temporarily occupied peninsula. The other three UAVs were destroyed by air defense systems, the ministry said.
They add that no one was injured in the drone attack.
