“They are crooked.” The DIU showed footage of two Russian helicopters and an airplane failing to shoot down a Ukrainian drone
A Ukrainian drone survived a chase by Russian combat helicopters and an airplane in occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate on its Telegram channel, where an archived video was published.
The special forces said that the footage shows a Ukrainian drone flying near Cape Tarkhankut. The drone is being chased by two helicopters and one occupant aircraft.
“Despite the continuous fire, our drone came out of the “battlefield” unharmed and successfully returned to the base. “They’re crooked…,” the UAV operator commented on the situation,” the post reads.
Intelligence reported that the DIU’s drones are increasingly emerging from clashes unscathed, even after encounters with Russian air defense and direct collisions with occupying aircraft.
On August 24, during a special operation, the GUR landed Ukrainian soldiers in Crimea. The battle took place near the village of Mayak, on Cape Tarkhankut, where Russian radar stations and air defense positions are located. Then they managed to destroy 30 occupants and four boats. Ukrainian aviation was involved in the fighting.
