They quickly ran out. Ukrainian military show footage of failed assault by Russian troops
Ukrainian soldiers showed footage of a failed attempt by the Russian armed forces to seize positions in the Zaporizhzhia sector.
Using the fire cover of two armored personnel carriers and a smoke screen, the Russian paratroopers moved into the trenches, but almost immediately began to suffer losses.
At the same time, as they advanced toward their goal, the occupiers did not even try to help their wounded, who, in desperation, literally clung to the legs of their comrades-in-arms, begging them not to leave them.
However, the Russians’ sacrifices were ultimately in vain, as despite all their efforts, they still failed to fulfill their mission.
Thus, due to the skillful actions of the Ukrainian defenders, only one of the more than a dozen invaders who had moved in to fulfill the task managed to survive, and that was only because the Ukrainian Armed Forces did not want to waste shells on him.
“There were 12 of them, and only two survived. One died immediately, and the last one is trying to bury himself… I don’t want to transfer the BC… But if he survives, then, of course, he should definitely be given a prize for survival. Here he is. He is lying down, but alive. Pretending to be dead, like a possum. Apparently, they were taught this in some Ryazan school,” one of the Ukrainian soldiers commented on the video.
