To prevent the Russian army from wasting its weapons, Ukraine is making realistic copies of howitzers and radar (photo)

Ukraine is actively using the models as a “bait” for the occupiers, and the more of them there are on the battlefield, the more the occupiers will spend their missiles and kamikaze drones on them

Metinvest Group has developed and is supplying the Ukrainian Armed Forces with realistic models of various weapons and military equipment that will help our military to “lure out” Russian drones and ammunition and deceive the enemy on the battlefield.

According to Metinvest, the mock-ups are created jointly with experts from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and are constantly being improved to mislead the enemy on the battlefield as effectively as possible.

It is noted that as of today, the Armed Forces have received more than 250 models that simulate artillery systems and radar stations free of charge.

Thus, in the photos published by Metinvest, one can recognize truly realistic copies of the Soviet 152-mm D-20 howitzer, the American 155-mm M777 howitzer, as well as 36D6 and AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel radar stations.

In general, it is no longer a secret that the Armed Forces of Ukraine actively use various models on the battlefield, which, provided that both the model itself and the positions around it are realistically reproduced on the battlefield, can really mislead the enemy.

For example, back in August of last year, Western media reported that the Ukrainian military was “luring out” even Russian Kalibr cruise missiles by using false targets on the battlefield.

And in the Czech Republic, rubber models of the M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS missile systems, which cost four times less than the same Javelin missile, are being produced for Ukraine.
