During the day, Ukraine announced four times (at the time of publication) an air alert across the country due to Russian Mig 31K fighters. During these alerts, the Ukrainian Air Force reported ballistic missile launches. Explosions were heard in Kyiv, Khmelnytsky region and Dnipro.
According to the Air Force, during the second alert due to the MiGs’ takeoff, a Kinzhal arrived in Khmelnytsky region, and during the third alert due to Russian fighters, several more air targets were recorded, their fate is being established.
During the third alarm, residents of Kyiv and the region could hear air defense operations. There were explosions.
The first deputy head of Khmelnytsky regional military administration Serhiy Tyurin said that two explosions occurred in the region. There were no casualties or damage.
“The enemy attacked Khmelnytsky region with rockets. During the air raid (14:09 – 14:57), an explosion occurred in Starokostiantynivska ATC of Khmelnytskyi district. Later, during the next air raid (15:36 – 16:15), an explosion also occurred in the area of Myrolyubnenska ATC in Khmelnytskyi district. Relevant services are working at the sites of the missile crash“, he wrote.
