Top Gear tested an off-road bus created by Ukrainians (video)

Torsus Praetorian became the hero of the new issue of the Top Gear show. The extreme off-road bus made an impression on the British.

Presenter Tom Ford called the Torsus Praetorian a school bus at maximum speed and decided to storm the Italian volcano Etna on it. Actually, the bus is working there, transporting tourists. Other Praetorian are currently transporting humanitarian cargo in Ukraine.

Top Gear said that the Torsus Praetorian was created by the Ukrainian company Pulsar Expo to transport people to the most inaccessible places. Its cabin is designed for 34 passengers and is equipped with air conditioning and USB ports. It is based on the MAN four-wheel drive chassis.

Tom Ford rated the powerful 6.9-liter diesel with a capacity of 290 hp. and with a torque of 1150 Nm, as well as a transmission with a reduction gear and differential locks. Its handling takes some getting used to, but off-road the Torsus Praetorian works wonders.
