UAV flies into a residential building in Enerhodar and explodes (video)

Residents of the occupied city assume that the drone was trying to destroy the Murom-M surveillance complex installed on the roof of a high-rise building.

On September 7, a drone attacked a multi-story residential building in Enerhodar. The video footage was posted by the Russian media outlet RT on Russian.

The video shows how a small drone the size of a quadcopter enters the technical floor of one of the sections of a residential building. As a result of the explosion that followed the collision, thick gray smoke appeared at the impact site. The building, according to the video, did not suffer significant damage, but the incident caused fear among the city’s residents.

Locals are already discussing the incident on Telegram. According to their reports, a 14-story building, allegedly located near the city hall, was damaged.

People also put forward their own versions of why the drone hit the residential building. They believe that this happened because of the Russian Murom-M surveillance complex, which the occupiers installed on the roof of the high-rise building. The townspeople agreed that the Ukrainian military apparently decided to deprive the Russian Armed Forces of this device so that it would not interfere with the work of a more serious drone.

At the same time, the occupation administration of the city reported that during the morning of September 7, the city suffered five drone attacks. Several of these drones were intercepted, and one of them was eliminated in the city’s park of culture and recreation.
