Ukraine has created a device that detects enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. It was named “Seeker”. This was announced by developer Roman Ruban on his Facebook page.

“I have completed a device to detect UAVs! “Seeker,” said Roman Ruban.

According to him, the Russian drone can be detected using an antenna with a detection angle of 8 degrees. In particular, he noted that this is a unique property with accurate radiation detection.

In addition, the Seeker device can detect its target at a distance of more than three kilometers. It has all the necessary additional functions of light and sound alarms. The Seeker also operates in the 2.4 GHz band with a quick-release antenna mount that can be changed from one wide to another narrow antenna in a few minutes. Instead, the 2.4 antenna is handmade and has a high gain of 15-16 dB and a VSWR of 1.2.

The developer added that the new device has already passed all the tests.
