Ukraine has developed a new drone for evacuation of wounded and ammunition delivery (video)
Ukraine has developed and is already conducting field tests of a new unmanned evacuation platform. The operational range of the mission is 10 km, it has a secure communication channel and an HD camera for video transmission.
At the current stage of development, the autopilot and communication module of the unmanned evacuation platform are being improved. The signal repeater for the platform is the Dovbush drone.
The evacuation drone has an electric drive consisting of four independent electric motors. The platform has a lifting capacity of 150 kg, and the signal from the control panel extends up to 100 meters.
During the tests, the drone transported a stretcher with a 95 kg person over rough terrain, which indicates the high cross-country ability of the wheeled platform.
The platform costs 70 thousand hryvnias, and the money was paid by volunteers. Such platforms are planned to be used not only for evacuation, but also for the supply of ammunition and provisions.
