Ukraine has improved its position in the ranking of the world’s strongest armies

During the year of the war, Ukraine rose from 22nd to 15th place in the ranking of the strongest armies in the world. The PowerIndex of Ukraine was 0.2516, while the ‘ideal’ score is 0.0000.

This is stated in the rating of the international company Global Firepower.

‘As Ukraine continues to defend itself against Russia, it has increased its index this year thanks to its response, financial and material support to the West, and the introduction of new key categories that contribute to its overall ranking,’ the report said.

The USA took first place in the ranking. At the same time, Russia retained the second place in the ranking.

‘The Russian-Ukrainian war has shown the key limitations of Russia’s military potential, despite its quantitative manpower and material superiority over Ukraine,’ noted Global Firepower.

It is said to ‘shed light’ on the level of readiness, command, training and supply in the Russian army.

We will remind you that last year Ukraine climbed three places in the world ranking of military power and took 22nd place among the 140 most powerful armies in the world.
