Ukraine repelled the world’s largest attack with hypersonic weapons, – Taras Chmut

No other country in the world has ever fought with such weapons and repelled such attacks, said the head of the Come Back Alive Foundation.

On the morning of January 2, 2024, Ukrainian air defense was able to repel a massive missile attack using a large number of ballistic missiles. Taras Chmut, a Ukrainian volunteer and head of the Come Back Alive Foundation, wrote about this.

“Thank your familiar air defense guys – today they successfully repelled the world’s largest combined missile attack using hypersonic weapons. No country in the world has ever fought with such a weapon. No country in the world has ever repelled such attacks,” he wrote on Twitter.

Also, the President of Ukraine noted that Russian occupants used almost a hundred missiles of various types, at least 70 of them were shot down, almost 60 of them in the Kyiv area.

“January 2, 24 – and another attack by Russian inhumans. Almost a hundred missiles of various types. At least 70 missiles were shot down. Almost 60 of them were shot down near Kyiv. There were severe strikes on Kharkiv as well. We are currently liquidating the consequences. “Petriots, Irises, Nasams – each of these systems has saved at least hundreds of lives. And Russia will be responsible for every life taken,” the President said.

On January 2, the Ukrainian Air Force reported the destruction of 72 out of 99 air targets used by the Russian Armed Forces to attack Ukraine.

We remind you that the Russian occupiers have been shelling Ukraine every night and every morning since December 29, when almost 30 people died in Kyiv alone. Since then, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, and Lviv have been bombarded by kamikaze drones, cruise missiles, and hypersonic missiles every night. Civilian casualties are already reaching hundreds of people.

Unfortunately, the Western world does not want to see these victims and does not want to hear about the war. After all, nothing happens in Western countries, and when people die in Ukraine on New Year’s Eve and the sky is strewn with missile bursts, other “civilized” countries massively launch fireworks worth billions of dollars and compete for the most spectacular celebration, refusing to help Ukraine. And the UN even cynically refuses to deprive the aggressor of participation in the Security Council, which was created for global peace and security. But this obviously does not apply to Ukrainians, on whose bones Europeans are building their future.
