Ukraine will not resume flights of civilian aircraft until it is safe – UkSATSE
Civil aviation will not resume flights in Ukraine until full security is ensured in the airspace.
This was stated by Oksana Ozhyhova, Deputy Director of Ukraerorukh, in a commentary to the Kyiv TV channel.
“Everything we have as a result of tonight’s attack, we call “danger”. We associate everything related with aviation with the word security. It is too early for us to make any predictions until the airspace of Ukraine is 100% safe,” Ozhigova said.
According to her, Ukraerorukh is currently conducting preparatory work to resume flights as soon as possible, “whenever possible”.
Earlier, French Transport Minister Clement Bon said that Ukraine was preparing to opening airspace for civilian aircraft.
