Ukraine will receive a new batch of French Caesar self-propelled artillery installations with a firing range of up to 42 km
French President Emmanuel Macron told the France 2 TV channel that France is preparing new military aid for Ukraine.
What is known
The new pack will include various weapons, including Caesar self-propelled artillery. It is about 6 self-propelled guns, which were specially created for the Danish armed forces. Danish Caesars differ from French ones in increased weight, ammunition up to 36 shells, as well as improved armor. Deliveries of the units will begin in the coming weeks.

Caesar is a French 155mm self-propelled gun designed for the destruction of manpower, artillery batteries, pillboxes, as well as securing passages in minefields and field barriers. The maximum firing range of the self-propelled guns is 42 km, although recently a projectile with a range of up to 70 km was presented for installation. The Caesar self-propelled gun is capable of firing 6 shots per minute. By the way, Ukraine currently has 18 such installations.
By the way, in addition to the additional batch of Caesar self-propelled guns, France will also send 3 LRU MLRS to Ukraine.
