IRIS-T is a medium-range surface-to-air missile system. It was developed by the German company Diehl Defense in 2014. The system is designed to destroy airplanes, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles, cruise and ballistic missiles.

IRIS-T in the SLM modification is considered one of the most advanced air defense systems. The Ukrainian army has been using SAMs since the beginning of the full-scale war with Russia. The system has proven itself in combat conditions.
