The Ukrainian company ANTONOV Airlines reported that its Ruslan aircraft successfully delivered a satellite to the launch pad of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
AN-124-100-150 was used to transport a spacecraft weighing about 50 tons. It was placed in a CTH04 container with overall dimensions of 14.69 x 5.45 x 4.22 meters, developed by Airbus.
The plane carried the satellite from France to the United States. The civilian spacecraft, developed by Airbus, will be launched by the American company SpaceX from NASA’s Titusville launch pad.
