Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners shoot down a rare occupant reconnaissance drone (video)

Ukrainian soldiers managed to “land” a rare Russian SuperCam drone. He was shot down by anti-aircraft gunners.

This was reported on the Facebook – the page of the 47th separate mechanized brigade.

“Anti-aircraft gunners of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade downed a rare enemy SuperSam drone,” the statement said.

They noted that such equipment was originally intended for aerial photography of the area, which was supposed to help researchers create maps and rescue operations.

However, after the outbreak of a full-scale war, such UAVs appeared in the service of the Russian Federation. The enemy uses them to conduct aerial reconnaissance.

The drone is capable of staying in the sky for 4-4.5 hours, its wingspan is 3.5 meters.
