Ukrainian Armed Forces demonstrate combat operation of Bohdan 2S22 self-propelled artillery system battery (video)
The press service of one of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s brigades released a video of three Bohdan self-propelled artillery systems in action. Two units use MAZ-6317 as a chassis. The artillery unit of another self-propelled gun is mounted on a Tatra T815-7.
According to the soldier with the call sign “Frenchman,” his artillery unit is currently busy training new artillerymen. They are trained to operate the plants. On average, it takes about a month to prepare a new calculation. If necessary, the training period can be halved.
In the video, you can see the control panel. It is used to point the barrel at a vertical and horizontal angle.
The Ukrainian self-propelled gun never received a charging device. Artillerymen have to load shells manually.
