Ukrainian Armed Forces demonstrate combat use of “Burevestnik” MLRS in tandem with “Uragan”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted a video on Facebook showing the combat use of the Burevestnik MLRS in tandem with the Uragan. In it, a Ukrainian artilleryman offers to show Russians what real democracy looks like.

The location of the shooting was not provided by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to reports published on TG channels, the operation of rocket artillery was filmed in Zaporizhzhia region during the practice of enemy positions.

The Burevestnik MLRS was developed by Ukrainian designers on the basis of the Soviet Uragan. The modernized unit received a digital fire control system. In addition, it is equipped with a battlefield data exchange system. This allows Burevestnik to work in tandem with drones and other equipment.

The chassis of the MLRS is a Czech Tatra vehicle with an armored cabin that reliably protects the crew. The accuracy of shooting is ensured by special “paws” that rest on the ground. “The Burevestnik fires the entire package of missiles faster than the Uragan. The system is used by Ukrainian artillery to engage motorized infantry units, lightly armored vehicles and manpower.
