Ukrainian specialists integrated American missiles with airplanes and helicopters. This week, a video showing the integration of Hydra 70 with Mi-24B was posted on Facebook.

The Hydra missiles are used by Ukrainian aviation in a cabling mode. The effective range of US missiles in this mode can reach 4 km.

In addition to the Hydra 70, the Allies are supplying Ukraine with a guided version of the APKWS. It is the same Hydra with a laser guidance system and a control unit with wings. The APKWS is guided to the target by a laser aiming device.
