Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy another occupants’ homemade MLRS with a bomb launcher (video)

Soldiers of the Signum unit of the 93rd Brigade together with the 80th Air Assault Brigade destroyed another improvised self-propelled missile system of the Russian occupiers in the Bakhmut sector at night using an FPV drone.

The enemy vehicle, nicknamed “Frankenstein,” was hit near Bakhmut. This monster was created on the basis of the Ural and armed with the Soviet RBU-6000 (Smerch-2) naval jet bomb.

This is the second successful hunt by Signum’s FPV drone operators for this type of occupant’s equipment.

Prior to that, “Frankensteins” with RBU-6000 were seen on the basis of MT-LB armored vehicle and T-80 tank.

Features of the monster:

  • a homemade multiple launch rocket system;
    use of the “drive and shoot” principle;
    unknown algorithm for controlling the firing and delivery of rocket bombs.

The destruction of the Frankenstein demonstrates the effectiveness of FPV drones at night and confirms the successful work of the Ukrainian military in the fight against enemy equipment.
