Ukrainian Armed Forces enter Robotyno village in Zaporizhzhia, evacuation of population underway (photos, video)
Soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade have successfully entered the village of Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia, where the fighting is still ongoing. The defenders consolidated their positions.
After two months of active combat, the soldiers of the 47th Mechanized Brigade, with the support of other units, managed to break through the complex Russian defense system.
The main priority of the military was to evacuate the local population, as the village continues to be actively destroyed by the Russian occupiers.
“We waited for the Armed Forces for a year and a half. We grabbed our belongings, documents and ran, throwing away those packages on the way, because life is the most valuable thing. And then these guys from the 47th Brigade took us away in a tank,” the locals said, referring to the tank as an American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle.
The medics of the 47th separate mechanized brigade conducted an examination among civilians and gave them the opportunity to call their loved ones.
