Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters show how to “destroy” heavy equipment and manpower of the occupiers near Avdiivka
The special operations forces showed one of the episodes of the fierce battle for Avdiivka, which broke out with renewed vigor on October 10 and continues to this day. As a result of the work of the Ukrainian Armed Forces alone, the Russian occupiers destroyed four armored personnel carriers, two tanks and “several dozen” invaders.
The operators of the 3rd Regiment of the Special Forces detected heavy equipment of the occupiers moving in the direction of Avdiivka, and then “promptly stopped the enemy” with the help of FPV drones, Javelin ATGMs and mortars, the press service of the military branch writes.
“We really like the way it burns,” the soldiers signed.
For years, including after the full-scale invasion, Russia has been unable to take the powerful Avdiivka fortification of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
In October 2023, the occupiers sent large forces to cover it from the northwest (in particular, to capture a strategically important height, the Avdiivka spoil heap) and the southwest. One of the fiercest battles of the Great War took place here, as can be seen from the statistics of Russian casualties from the General Staff. The losses of the Defense Forces are not disclosed.
