Ukrainian Armed Forces organized a “safari” on the Russian Armed Forces near Soledar: Syrsky showed footage of work (video)

According to the Land Forces commander, Russian equipment, including howitzers and electronic warfare systems, was detected by aerial reconnaissance. Attacks on the positions of the Russian Armed Forces were carried out using FPV drones.

The soldiers of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Ostrozky organized a “safari” to the occupiers’ equipment near Soledar, Donetsk region. This was reported by the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.

FPV drone operators effectively practiced targeting enemy equipment in the eastern part of the frontline.

“The 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade is operating near Soledar. Ukrainian soldiers organized a “safari” for the occupiers’ electronic warfare equipment and facilities. The aerial reconnaissance men found targets and together with their comrades from other units hit them with FPV drones,” noted Syryskyi.

As a reminder, ISW noted Ukraine’s success near Robotyn: the Ukrainian counteroffensive group is approaching the second line of Russian defense.

It was also reported that the day before, on August 22, American military researchers noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had the ability to pass through minefields. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, for its part, noted that Ukrainian defenders were advancing toward Melitopol.
