Ukrainian Armed Forces shoot down a Russian Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter worth $16 million
The Ukrainian Defense Forces eliminated another Russian military helicopter. This was reported by the 47th separate mechanized brigade.
The brigade’s fighters shot down a Ka-52 Alligator attack helicopter using a portable anti-aircraft missile system. An iron bird worth $16 million was destroyed in southern Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian media confirmed the loss of the helicopter. It has not yet been specified what kind of anti-aircraft missile system was used to shoot down the Ka-52. However, it is known that the 47th Brigade is armed with Swedish RBS 70 systems.
