Ukrainian Armed Forces show footage of combat use of an armored ground drone for the first time
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have shown the first video with footage of the use of an innovative combat ground drone.
Soldiers of the 5th Kyiv Assault Brigade used a Ukrainian development in the battle against the Russian invaders, which may change the course of the war in the future.
The name of the drone has not yet been specified, but it is likely to be an Ironclad robot equipped with a thermal imaging camera and a ShaBlya M2 combat turret.
It is known from open sources:
- speed – up to 20 km/h;
- has an armored shell that protects it from small arms;
- It can be controlled remotely from a safe place.
In the footage presented, a combat drone captures targets and destroys an enemy position.
