Ukrainian Armed Forces use Turkish armored vehicles Otokar Cobra II at the front
The Internet has repeatedly reported that Ukraine has received Turkish armored vehicles Otokar Cobra II. Now they have been spotted at the front.
What is known
Photos of the vehicles in the hands of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were published by the Telegram channel @horevica. The vehicles were spotted in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region. At least two cars can be seen in the photos. It is unknown how many such vehicles are in service with the Armed Forces.
For those who don’t know
The Cobra II is a Turkish 4×4 all-wheel drive armored combat vehicle. It is produced by Otokar. The design of the car began in 1994. In 1995, the American company AM General joined the project. The vehicle was built using components from the HMMWV armored off-road vehicle.
