Ukrainian armored vehicle “Novator” became a nine-seater

The Ukrainian Novator armored vehicle in Istanbul aroused the interest of potential buyers, as it can carry nine soldiers with full equipment.

At the International Defense Industry Fair (IDEF 2023), which is coming to an end in Turkey, Ukrainian Armor, a domestic manufacturer of modern military equipment, proved to be a serious player in the arms market: our booth had as many visitors as the world’s leading manufacturers.

The company showed a model of a new nine-seater specialized armored vehicle (SAV) Novator at the exhibition. Previously, the light armored vehicle had a five-seat interior and a covered body like a pickup truck.

In addition to carrying more people, the new version of the vehicle is also adapted to accommodate remote-controlled combat modules and air defense systems.

As in the previous versions of the machine, the new Novator uses a modular design. This allows you to change the purpose of the vehicle in a short period of time and use a variety of payload options.

This is the second international exhibition of the manufacturer in six months. In February, Ukrainian Armor participated in the IDEX-2023 exhibition of weapons and military equipment in Abu Dhabi (UAE). There, the company presented the Novator armored vehicle and the Smereka 120-mm mobile mortar system.

Just as in Istanbul, guests from all over the world were interested in Ukrainian equipment because it had been tested in the crucible of real combat conditions: partners asked not only about the technical characteristics of the products, but also about how this equipment performed on the battlefield.

The exhibitions in the United Arab Emirates and Turkey showed that after the war, Ukraine has a very good chance of strengthening its position among the world’s arms sellers and can become a leading player not only in Africa and the Persian Gulf region, but also in more powerful arms and military equipment markets, including in cooperation with the world’s leading manufacturers.
