The roof of the most powerful Tesla Model 3 was cut off. The result was very interesting.

A team of Ukrainian engineers and designers from TSK in California (USA) has created a unique convertible based on the most powerful version of the Tesla Model 3 electric car. For the project, the tuners bought the smallest of the American brand’s electric vehicles, the Performance.

“We have started a new project for which we bought Performance. The goal of the project is to create a completely new fiberglass body and modify the platform to maximize the potential of the Tesla Model 3 chassis,” said TSK founder Bogdan Holovatyuk in an exclusive comment to AUTOGEEK.

According to him, the project envisages that a charged electric car will lose all body panels, and only the chassis with the battery and electric motors will remain.

Golovatyuk also noted that in addition to brainstorming time, creative inspiration, and money to buy the “blank,” four cans of gold paint for home decor were used to create the custom project. The red seat covers, which were taken off one of the cars we bought for sale, also came in handy.

The company’s founder also noted in the conversation that the TSK guys shortened the springs of the Tesla Model 3, although later they will install a completely different ready-made suspension on the car, as well as add some noise insulation to the convertible.

It is worth reminding that the Tesla Model 3 electric car in the Long Range Performance version is equipped with an all-wheel drive powertrain consisting of a pair of electric motors. The front motor has a capacity of 210 hp, and the rear motor has 300 hp. Thanks to an 82 kWh battery, the electric vehicle can travel about 567 km on a single charge.
