Ukrainian defenders destroy the latest Russian electronic warfare system “Bylina” for the first time (video)

Soldiers of the Shadow Defense Forces unit discovered one of the newest Russian electronic warfare systems, the RB-109A. Thanks to the successful actions of Ukrainian defenders, the occupiers’ modern equipment was destroyed.

By the way, this is the first time that the Defense Forces have hit a Bylina electronic warfare system. Russia had planned to adopt the system only in 2025, but the enormous losses in equipment by the occupiers have obviously changed the situation.

Russian complex “Bylina” burned to the ground

The fighters of the Shadow unit hit the modern electronic warfare system Bylina with a drone. After being hit, the equipment began to burn imperceptibly, but later the fire spread to a larger area. As a result, the Russians’ newest complex burned to the ground.

By the way, the crew of Bylina was also in the dugout nearby. The defenders noted that they are not visible on the recording, but the military are sure that the invaders stayed in that dugout forever.

What is known about RB109A “Bylina”

RB109A “Bylina” is a Russian automated control system for electronic warfare assets. The system uses (or will use after development is completed) “machine learning-based artificial intelligence capabilities” to prioritize and suppress electronic signals.

The system analyzes the electronic environment within a radius of up to 100 kilometers and interferes with the highest priority targets. There is no accurate information on the capabilities and characteristics of the system, as Russia planned to adopt the system no earlier than 2025.
